Today we want to introduce you to Vincent Hildebrandt CTO at bluplanet 🌍
bluplanet: Why did you decide to work at bluplanet?
Vincent: For me it was the time to start something that could leverage my knowledge and expertise but on the other hand is an opportunity for me to learn something new. With bluplanet I can stay in the Salesforce (and cloud) business, but switch my role from a consulting and implementation partner to a license partner. I am fully motivated to take the challenge and have the chance to leave my comfort zone.
bluplanet: What are your responsibilities at bluplanet?
Vincent: I will take care of our customers and partners. I will listen and learn about the challenges our customers have to solve as part of their digital transformation journey. I will then start to create a vision together with them and identify the best fitting cloud solutions including a first proposal on an architecture behind it. Afterwards I will connect our customers with the right partners who have the right expertise, quality, and mindset to deliver the solution. I will always offer to stay as a quality gate to make sure the transformation is running smoothly and as expected.
bluplanet: What excites you about working at bluplanet?/ What is your favorite thing about your job so far?
Vincent: From day 1 I felt welcomed by the whole team. Everyone was so helpful and supportive, so that all my questions were answered very quickly. Moreover, I was able to visit the Salesforce World Tour to meet new and existing faces - exciting times ahead.
I see bluplanet growing and with my expertise as a people-centric leader I plan to make a huge impact, so that the company culture evolves into something amazing.
bluplanet: What unique skills or qualities do you bring to your role?
Vincent: For my team I will bring my people centric leadership skills into bluplanet, for my customers and partners my solution oriented consulting mindset that is not only supportive but also challenges when necessary. In addition to that, with my technical knowledge, I can support our customers in creating enterprise architectures for their planned transformation projects.
bluplanet: What is the most important lesson you've learned in your career so far?
Vincent: It is all about people and culture. The Salesforce World is so small. Be kind and treat everyone like you would want to be treated. Respect others and don’t try to be liked by everybody but respected.
bluplanet: What motivates you to come to work every day?
Vincent: I have a true passion for what I do, so it is more difficult to keep me away from work.
bluplanet: What is something you are passionate about outside of work? / If you could have dinner with any historical figure, who would it be and why?
Vincent: I love traveling and nature, especially everything related to animals and water… Just put me on a nice dive spot or rain forest or game drive and I am the happiest person. Watching bees coming by the flowers on my terrace makes me already smile.
For dinner with a historical person I would like to meet Miep Gies. She was so brave in very dark times and I find that very impressive.
